Late Smt Sunanda Shidham CME

 

Late Smt Sunanda Shidham CME was organized like every year by Vidarbha Associtaion of Pathologists and Microbiologists on 19 th of February 2022 from 9-11.30 am on an online platform. Dr Vinod Shidham Professor and Director of Pathology, Wayne State University School of Medicine, Karmanos Cancer Center and Detriot Medical Center was the main speaker of the event. He spoke extensively on serous fluid cytopathology. Dr Shidham is a well known name in the field of cytopathology in India as well as worldwide. He explained the nuances in fluid cytology to the audience.

Second lecture was delivered by Dr Suprita Nayak, a teacher of par excellance and Associate Professor, Department of Pathology, Government Medical College, Nagpur. She spoke on mistakes and learnt lessons in lymph nodes aspiration cytology. The audience indeed appreciated the case based approach.

The sessions were chaired by Dr Mohini Dave, Dr Anupama Gupta and Dr Dharitri Bhatt all well known figures in Pathology. The webinar was graced by senior pathologist Dr Ajay Marawar.

Dr. Prachi Sancheti , President VAPM, welcomed the attendees by her address and Dr. Ankita Tamhane, Hon’ Secretary VAPM delivered the vote of thanks. The proceeding of the webinar were very efficiently conducted by Dr. Shradhha Iyer. Team VAPM contributed to make this webinar a great success.
