Vidarbha Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists as a part of their routine academic activity carried out webinar of Hepato-pancreatic neoplasms on 28th August 2021.
Dr.Prachi Sancheti, President VAPM welcomed the audience.
Dr. Avani Pendse, Alumni of GMC, Nagpur currently working as Assistant Professor of Pathology, Duke University, North Carolina , United States of America was the Guest Speaker. She spoke on approach to diagnosis of hepatic mass lesions on core needle biopsy. Dr.R.Ravi, Senior Surgical Pathologist form Nagpur and Dr. Mukta Ramadwar, Professor, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai chaired the session.
Dr. Amit Agrawal, Consultant Gastro-enterologist, Disha Clinics , Nagpur gave an update on EUS FNA: Techniques and applications. Dr. Prashant Bhandarkar, renowned Gastero-enterologist of Nagpur chaired the session.
Dr.Prachi Sancheti, Consultant Surgical Pathologist , briefed on interpretation of EUS FNA of pancreatic neoplasms. Dr.Kamayani Deshpande, Senior Surgical Pathologist, Nagpur chaired the session.
Dr.Padmaja Achanta Consultant Pathologist, Kavya Pathology Lab, Nagpur covered grossing techniques of hepato-pancreatic surgeries in a very simple and efficient way. Dr.Mahesh Deshmukh, Consultant Surgical Pathologist, Alexis Hospital, Nagpur chaired the talk.
Potpourri of interesting cases was presented by Dr. Majit Rajput, Consultant Oncopathologist at HCGNCHRI and Dr. Komal Deshmukh, Lab Director and Consultant Pathologist, Star Superspeciality Hospital, Nagpur. Dr. Sandhya Pophlee, Associate Professor , Department of Pathology, GMC, Nagpur and Dr. Nisha Meshram, Assistant Professor, AIIMS, Nagpur chaired the session.
